Most powerful character in the Freakaverse? (Freakazoid)

I’ve been catching up on some old Freakazoid episodes, I just love the random, insane chaos of the Freakaverse, the non-sequiters, willing breaking of the fourth wall, inside jokes to old TV episodes ( I.E. “Professor Jones” constantly being asked “weren’t you in a television show with a robot?” (Jonsey is voiced by Jonathan Harris) ), it’s just insane

I got to thinking though, Freakazoid’s main problem is his inconsistent “powers”, his main ability is to have the exact power that the plot requires for that episode, he’s clearly not the most powerful character in the 'verse

I got to thinking, who IS the most powerful character in the Freakaverse?

So, which character in the Freakaverse do you think wields the most power?

Personally, I think that the most powerful character in the Freakaverse is Sargent Mike Cosgrove, think about it, he can appear anyplace in the world relative to Freakazoid, has the ability to stop the plot cold by offering to take Freak off to some fun place, usually in the middle of the story (<C>Hey Freakazoid, 'wanna go get a mint? <F!> Do I!?! :smiley: ), plus, he has the ability to stop ANY evildoer with four simple words…
“Hey, cut it out!”

Clearly Cosgrove’s power eclipses all others in the Freakaverse…

Oops, forgot to add Candlejack to the poll, but I don’t think that’ll be a problem I’ll just add h…

Thank you for this thread. Just the mere thought of Freakazoid is enough to brighten what looks to be a long Friday. Easily the best Spielberg cartoon there was, and that’s saying something.

I had to vote for Cosgrove. Anyone that unflappable is hiding some serious mojo. But I gotta say I like the Lobe; the dance number the restaurant staff did for him was the pinnacle of the entire series.

And as additional proof as to the power of Cosgrove, I believe he was the ONLY Warner Brothers 'toon able to stop the Warners (Yakko, Wakko and Dot) from their chaotic reign of Zaniness, in one of the crossover scenes, he approached the Warners, uttered his four “Words of Power” (Hey, cut it out!), and the Warners stopped!
