Last time someone tried that on me, i kindly reminded them the whole gas line runs through my yard, and i could stop it easily from getting on down the line.
They promptly returned my service.
I actually did that to my grade school principle once. I wonder how he is doing now.
When you’re turning right on red, and see a woman with two babies in a double-stroller, clutching another kid by the hand, trying to cross a six-lane road, STOP and let her cross. Don’t clip the stroller because you’re in a hurry, and don’t honk your horn because it takes 5 extra seconds to haul three kids that far.
That mom isn’t wasting gas for a 2-block trip, and she’s getting some fresh air and exercise. Good for the environment, good for the mom and kids. Cool yer jets, and wait a few seconds.
