Miscellaneous and Personal Stuff I Must Share

For the past three weeks we have been trying to catch this extremely intelligent mouse. We began by placing traps around the house. We put cheese in some and peanut butter in others. Here’s what happened.
–We put two mousetraps in plane sight in the garage because the mouse had been digging around in the garbage. One of the mousetraps is missing. No sight of a trap, no sight of a mouse. Maybe we got him.

                WRONG

–Later I saw the mouse run in my closet. We put a peanut butter mouse trap in there. A day later… peanut butter was licked clean. Somehow this mouse managed eat the peanut butter without getting caught.

–We also had a mouse trap right next to our bathroom cabinet. There is a small space in between the cabinet and the wall. This mouse ran across the room, into the bathroom and jumped over the trap into the space between the wall. (I’M NOT KIDDING…HE JUMPED OVER THE TRAP… WE SAW HIM!!)

What to do now?

Wow, what is up with all the mouse threads lately? Having two cats I don’t have a mouse problem :smiley:

Once, a mouse got into our cabinets and I just left all the cabinet doors open at night and the next morning there was a dead mouse on the floor. Good kitties!

You might have a family instead of an individual.
