Movie featuring "One Step Beyond" by Madness

I was looking at the mtvmusic website and started looking at some Madness videos. I played the video for “One Step Beyond,” and my wife came over and was like “what movie is that in?” I am pretty sure it’s in a movie too, but I couldn’t figure out what it’s in. I looked on the wikipedia entry for the song and searched Google for “One Step Beyond”, but couldn’t get the information I wanted.

Does anyone here know? It feels like it’s on the tip of my brain.

From what I see on IMDB, the only movie it’s been used on was 9 Dead Gay Guys.

Hmm… since my wife nor I have seen it, I don’t think that’s the movie we’ve been thinking of. Thanks though. I don’t know why but I am thinking of Ferris Bueler’s Day Off or something similar, maybe just briefly during the movie. I’m thinking chase scene.

Any chance you’re thinking of “The Breakfast Club”, where they don’t play the song but they do a dance similar to the one the band does in the video? (All lined up and groovin’ down the street in close unison)

I don’t think it’s the Breakfast Club because my wife heard the music (from the video) without seeing the part where they walk in unison and thought she had heard the music in a movie before.

Maybe I am just getting it confused with music from Pulp Fiction.

Okay, I figured it out finally. It wasn’t a movie, it was an episode of Freaks and Geeks when Sam is running naked through the school.
