Movie Game IV (son of a son of a...)

Hugh Grant.

(And the referenced scene is noted and written down…thank you! )

Sorry, I got into this a bit late. And y’all were already like 8 pages past any of the ones I saw. That’s right, I read all 18 pages at once.

how about Two Weeks Notice

Alicia Witt

The Upside of Anger

(Just out of curiosity, what was the dupe?)

(Oh, and welcome to the game, you Big Dummy)!

Joan Allen

The Bourne Supremacy

(And Twicks, I think Joan Allen is incredibly hot. So you can add that to the things about me that don’t quite add up.)

It’s not the inconsistencies – since consistency is, after all, the last refuge of the unimaginative – it’s the “ew” factor of some of your honeys. I think Joan Allen is great. Unlike, say, Kathy Griffith.

Matt Damon

Rounders

Famke Janssen

(In case other people don’t want to know, preserve the illusion and all that  )

American Pie, post # 162 & 275; Donald Sutherland, post # 11 & 300; Chicago, post # 40 & 367. I think, didn’t see any rollbacks on those. You could change one of the American Pie entries to one of the sequels, I guess, Hannigan was in all three

In keeping with the rule: Dupe? I have no idea what you’re talking about.
And thanks.

Clive Barker’s Lord of Illusions

Shoot, previewed that like a dozen times too. Make that 111, not 11.

Thanks, BigDummy. Players should (ahem) check if they’re in doubt, but I know I don’t always. This is why when we do catch a dupe in a timely manner and back up to replay, it’s nice to do a post with “movie, actor, movie, actor are all available” – that way, if you do do a search and come across a name that was played and then withdrawn, you know it’s okay.

Re: your suggested fix:

We have a no-sequel rule, so playing any one Rocky film takes all 43 of them out of play.

Really? Wow, that’s brutal. But good to know, thanks.

Scott Bakula

Life as a House

Yes, BigDummy, welcome to the insanity!

Mary Steenburgen

Melvin and Howard

(Tempting fate since this is how we ended the last one…)

Michael J. Pollard.
