Movie Game, Mk 3

The hamsters were probably just copulating. Sometimes the server just doesn’t respond. If you search for short words, the search widget reports that they are too common or too short:

If you get “server did not respond,” it’s an Internet thing.

Nope, I found it just fine - search “die hard” with the quotes! and it finds both posts in this thread (ok, it’ll find 3 now  )

Hunt for Red October has already been played…didn’t get the post number, but it was on June 1st, so we’re still on Stellan Skarsgard (I ain’t gonna go hunting for the special character  )

So, let’s try (since Twickster just started a thread on it
Dancer in the Dark

Joel Gray

Nice choice, critter 42!

As for Joel Grey: Gotta be Cabaret.

Well, since I very much don’t want to play Judy’s crazy offspring, I’ll go with

Michael York

Whoa. Had a major WTF moment there – then realize, no, wait, these folks don’t know my name IRL is Judy. :smack:

You know, twickster, if you’ve got crazy offspring that can be played in this particular game, then we should be discussing degrees of separation instead. And asking for details. Lots of them.

Absolutely. Seconded.

The Three Musketeers

I loooooooooved that version!

Oliver Reed

(No, no, Indyellen, I was reading that as though you were offering to portray my crazy offspring – that was at least a third of the WTF moment, trying to imagine the exact scenario we were going to act out. I suspected it involved me in some kind of Bette-Davis-Joan-Crawford role c. 1963, it was … not a good place to go.)

Appropriately enough, Oliver!

I’ll be back Sunday – headed to Philadelphia (actually Bryn Mawr) for a few days to visit my sweetie’s father, who’s quite ill.

Ok, I can understand THAT generating a WTF moment. [nervous] Hides the wire hangers…[/nervous]

To make it up to you, a musical…

Oliver!

I once played the milkmaid in the “Who Will Buy” sequence in a community theatre production.

Nice simulpost, Sternvogel…sorry to hear that, hope your sweetie’s father feels better soon.

oooooh! simul-answerpost!
Ron Moody

Sternvogel – Bryn Mawr is 15 minutes from me – email me, I can give you my phone number in case you need to get out for a while, we can go get coffee.

Wasn’t he WONDERFUL?

Digging deep, we now find

A Kid in King Arthur’s Court

Kate Winslet

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Jim Carrey.

The Truman Show

Ed Harris
