Time After Time
Mary Steenburgen
Melvin and Howard
I have a feeling this may bring this particualr round to a screeching halt, but I seem to recall that Melvin Dummar (the subject of the film) had a small part in his own movie. The only other actor in the film I can remember has already been used.
You’re correct, and Dummar’s role as “Bus Depot Counterman” is his only IMDb-listed credit. I had to look that up, but the quantity and variety of knowledge stored in my head recently inspired me to apply as a Who Wants to Be a Millionaire contestant. On Tuesday, I flew to New York, where I passed the audition. Now I await a postcard which will either say “thanks but no thanks” or inform me I’m officially “in the pool” for the upcoming season.
So do we start a new thread, or continue with this one? In either case, I’ll honor Millionaire star Meredith Vieira (who was not at the ABC building when I qualified for a future on-camera exchange with her) by playing the 2004 remake of The Stepford Wives. The film featured Meredith (in what was apparently not much of a stretch of her thespian abilities) as a TV host.
I vote we start a new thread. When we have multiple games in the same thread, one must remember the time and date of the game change, which can be tough for some.
This has been a very long (20+ page first game). We should probably start the Movie Game IV.
