This is not a quiz. I don’t know the answer. I’d like to know the answer.
Somebody said something like, “First they break the sound barrier. Then the Dodgers move to LA.”
Spouse believes the line was uttered by Dick Van Dyke.
All I remember is that it was uttered by some white guy. (No surprise given the time period.) I think I would remember if it was someone memorable (like D. vD.)
But the only movie I remember seeing D. v. D. in in that time period was Mary Poppins. So that probably wasn’t it.
Should I have put this (and the other one) in GQ? Seemed more likely to get an answer here.
