I think we’ve missed a lot of opportunities at cameo appearances with the Marvel movies so far. Why have Daredevil and Spidey not met up? (yes, I know there are budget/billing issues)
I had high hopes that maybe the last Blade movie would introduce us to Ghost Rider, and go from there. Maybe work in a whole ‘Midnight Suns’ theme. But no.
Hell, I’d settle for a real Avengers movie. they could make it with a grouping of folks who’ve not had a movie yet- Thor, Iron Man, Captain America (no, there WASN’T a movie!), Wasp, Ant Man, ect.
biggest wasted moment in team up history: Spider-man 2, on the train, Spidey’s knocked out, the crowd is in front of him…it parts, and (any random hero) is in the middle of it and fights Doc Oc off. Hell, I’ll take DD, Blade, Darkhawk, anybody!
sigh
Well, since Spidey 3 is likely to have 2+ villains, maybe he’ll get a hand from someone.
First, some miscellaneous LotR-themed team-ups …

And to those of you who don’t yet think I’m going to hell:
Brian and Jesus – They’re both back from the dead, and while Brian’s just trying to “look on the bright side of life”, Jesus is pissed. Hilarious hijinks (and plenty of gore) ensue.
007: Vampires in London finds James Bond teaming up with Blade to stop a vampire coven scattered all around the British Isles headed by a resurrected Ernst Stavro Blofeld and a now-vampiric Jaws. Co-starring Vampirella and the immortal Mina Harker.
Taking the Bond movies in a bold new direction, the sequels will be 007: Witches of New England (with Ash and Cher, Pfiffer, Sarandon and Nicholson), 007: Zombies of America (with Shaun of the Dead), 007: Mummies of the Aztecs (with the Mummy in Mexico) and 007: Showdown Tokyo (with Godzilla and Gremlins).
I’d add “The Watchmen” to that, though it’d be better as an HBO miniseries. (And you could probably get G. Gordon Liddy to play himself.)
Anyway, I’ve got another one. Godzilla vs…Godzilla. TRISTAR’s “Godzilla” vs. TOHO’s Godzilla. The real Godzilla would be suitimation, the crappy one would be CGI.
In what regard? I know Chan is the martial artist/physical comedian, and Chow is more of the “actor” (although he did do martial arts in Crouching Tiger, I don’t think of his as a “martial artist” like Jackie Chan and Jet Li). I like them both, but you seem to be implying one is better than the other.
