Movie Trailer Song Hype

Any movies out there that you have seen that you maybe didn’t like as much as you would have wanted, but the main song used in the trailer really gets you hyped to see it? For me right now, its whenever I hear “Heathens” by 21 Pilots I think about Suicide Squad and I want to watch it again, even though I wasn’t impressed when I did see it. But damn if that song doesn’t get me wanting to watch it.
Anyone else have this experience? It can even be a movie you did like, as long as hearing a particular song associated with it jacks you up to watch the film again.

Johnny Cash’s “Hurt” made the **Logan **trailer. It changed the movie from “What, another X-Men flick” to “I have GOT to see that.”

Excellent choice, of course I loved that song before I had seen the movie, but none the less, I totally agree.
Another example for me, is U2’s “Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me” from Batman Forever. The movie was ok, but I love that song and when I see the video or hear the song itself, I want to watch again.

That one movie with Bad to the Bone in the trailer was excellent.

I don’t usually remember trailers that distinctly, but certain songs in movies definitely resonate with me.

Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” at the beginning of Zombieland
Donovan “Hurdy Gurdy Man” in Zodiac
Donovan “Atlantis” in Goodfellas (yes another Donovan song.)
Terry Reid’s “To be Treated Rite (sic)” and “Seed of Memory”, and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s"Freebird" in The Devil’s Rejects
