Movie/TV character you are attracted to (not necesarily the actor who portrayed them)

Ack, Tacita How could I forget Jareth? Thank you for reminding me. I think Sarah was an idiot, too

And I feel like an idiot cause I’m forgetting Colin Firth’s character Fitzwilliam Darcy in the BBC miniseries of Pride and Prejudice.

I rode Omni in Springfield, IL

I suppose it’s fairly cliche’ at this point, but I’m in love with Dana Scully (even though she’s a theist.) She’s smart, attractive, physically fit and good with a gun too!!! I’d clean out a closet on my boat for her.

Voted most likely to ramble on inanely - I hope I’ve not taken someone else’s title ‘cause as far as I know I just made that up and I wouldn’t want to make anyone mad at me or anything like that and all ya’ know.

Sherridan in Babylon Five
Ben Stone, the old ADA on Law & Order

Something about a truly rightous man, one who is willing to sacrifice for personal integrity, just gets me all hot and bothered.

Oh yeaaaaahh!! There was something just incredibly sexy about Jareth! BTW, I love that movie.

“I love being married. It’s so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.”

Yes Jareth!!!

Tights, makeup, and poofy hair should turn you off! On any other man they would, but oooh baby do they look good on David Bowie in that movie!!

Jareth from Labyrinth is my vote too.

“I celebrate myself, and sing myself, and what I assume you shall assume, for every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.” --Whitman

Assistant DA Abbie Carmichael from Law & Order, portrayed by the lovely Angie Harmon. Angie Harmon by herself is beautiful, but from what I read she’s nothing like her character, who I am in love with.

“History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it.” -Winston Churchill

Gus from “Lonesome Dove.” Book version and movie version. One of the best characters ever written, IMO.

Dr. Ross and Dr. Green from E.R. In other roles, neither George Clooney nor Anthony Edwards get me going, but in these roles…sigh

Unca Jessie on “Full House”,the new doc on ER, sorry, can’t think of his name, Gortex Vsolojac, something like that…John, the cute gay receptionist on NYPD Blue…Claude Mann, adorable chef who shows up on “Dinner and a Movie”, playing, yes, - a chef!..Joe Bob Briggs, drive in theater critic on TNT…going way way back, Mr. Spock on Star Trek…just about the entire cast of Northern Exposure but mainly the characters of Ed, Chris, Marilyn, and Leonard.

I had such a thing for Bayliss on Homicide… but I also adored Kellerman and Lewis. And don’tget me started on Logan from Law and Order… I don’t care in the LEAST about any of the actors, but those characters all rocked. Mmmmmmmm.

Everybody knows that Steve McGarrett only takes orders from the governor and God - and occassionally even they have trouble.

Definately Dharma (Jenna Elfman). I tend to be a little (ok, alot) on the reserved side and to have such a free spirit help me open my wings would be the greatest.

I’m with PunditLisa on Gus McCrae.

I’m also attracted to Fox Mulder on the X-files. He’s serious most of the time so when he cracks a joke…it’s great. He also treats his partner well.

“Predictable, really I suppose. It was an act of purest optimism to have posed the question in the first place.” --John Cleese

Oh, and Dr. Frank N Furter in the Rocky Horror Picture Show!

Number Six from The Prisoner, as played by Patrick McGoohan.

And I’m not even gay.

Uke

Alex P. Keaton, from “Family Ties”
-Lanna

First things first, to answer a question from a previous post, Carrie-Ann Moss played Trinity in the Matrix

The character that gets me going is really Elaine from Seinfeld. I have no idea why, but man, I want her.

Stupid people surround themselves with smart people. Smart people surround themselves with smart people who disagree with them. - Isaac Jaffee

This may be a cliche, But I’ve got to go with seven of nine. Jeri Ryan is a fox, but when I see her out of character, I feel deeply disappointed, like I was pulling back the curtain on Oz the great and terrible to discover a cute little squirrel.

Having an open mind means you put out a welcome mat and answer the door politely. It does not mean leaving the door open and with a sign saying nobody’s home

I don’t know the character names, but Meg Ryan really did it for me in both “You’ve Got Mail” and “City of Angels”. Maybe it’s just Meg Ryan.

Like Larry, my response is a character from “Voyager”. I don’t watch the show often so I do not know her name - but the half-Klingon half-human engineer in that show is hot. Maybe thats a strange character to find attractive, but there is something sort of dangerous about her. Whoa - she can toss me around the bedroom anytime.

"_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ".

As a trekkie I can tell you the character name is B’leanna Torres. She’s half Klingon and half Human.

John Bender - Thew Breakfast Club
Doc Holiday - Tombstone

Neither Judd Nelson nor Val Kilmer has been attractive to me in any other role.

Except maybe Val Kilmer as Elvis in True Romance. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
