Movies so bad ,they became cult .

I think Idiocracy has an intentional cheesiness like South Park. I mean, 500 years in the future everything is supposed to suck real bad!

No it won’t. We’ll have electrolytes!

And Carl’s Junior!

But other than those…

Starship Troopers is so bad that it’s good. I think that’s what they intended. It’s a throwback to camp movies from the 50’s. I’ve seen it a bunch of times. I always laugh at certain parts.

You seem to only be reading what I wrote rather than what I mean. Stop that!

::chuckle:: I guess it was only one.

Mars Needs Women

So many nominations !

I have to search IMDB to check some of these .

Oh man, you’ve done it now.

I’ll third this one.

I’ll be right next to you. Buckaroo Banzai is an offbeat, clever, funny work of transcendant genius. A cult movie, yes, but not because it’s “so bad.”

bummed I’m late on this one, but has anyone mentioned Omega Man? and my sister loves Ishtar, which for some reason makes me like her less…

Agreed. I can always pop BB in the DVD player and still get a chuckle out of it. Some of the extras could’ve used some acting school, but Peter Weller and John Lithgow are pure genius in this movie, with solid backing from the likes of Clancy Brown, Christopher Lloyd, Jeff Goldblum (before he got all angsty and pretentious), and Vincent Schiavelli.

Its sin is that it’s so offbeat that no one really knows what to make of it; and that’s the beauty of it! You’re not supposed to make anything of it; just sit back and enjoy the silly ride.

And remember: wherever you go, there you are.
