Movies you can watch over and over again

Thanks. I like my taste in movies too. And I’m the ultimate woman in other ways too. Your proposal is flattering and I would consider it, but there have been too many virtual weddings already. It’s overdone. Sorry.

Mommy Dearest
A Christmas Story
Forest Gump
Ghost
I know there is more but those are all I can think of right now.

. . . and add:

The Quiet Man
King Kong
Dinner At Eight
Desk Set
Summertime
Roman Holiday
All About Eve
The Circus
Alien
Sabrina
The Music Man
Red Dust
How To Marry A Millionaire

Don’t get me started . . .!

PeeWee’s Big Adventure
Six Degrees of Separation

I have enjoyed many of the movies previously listed, however, these are the only two that I can watch over and over and

The Wizard of Oz
Dead Poets’ Society
Anything with Charlie Chaplin
Anything with Buster Keaton
Broken Blossoms - and anything else with Lillian Gish
Funny Girl
Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?
All About Eve
Mildred Pierce
A Star is Born (with Judy)

Oh, God, are my age and sexual orientation showing?
NOT on my list: Rocky Horror Picture Show, the only movie for which the audience is scarier than the movie.

I looove pee wee’s big adventure. I know you are, but what am i, infinity. Love it! Also, Don’t tell mom the babysitter’s dead and a Christmas story. last year they showed it for 24 hours on some channel, tnt I think.

Sons of the Desert
The Taking of Pelham 123

Oh, please tell us! Is it because Sam Elliot is such a hunk, no matter how “rode hard and put up wet” he looks? That’s what I think! ::drool:: I love him in that western with Katherine Ross, about the lonely woman and her son, and she ties love poems to the tumbleweeds.

Or is it Kelly Lynch, the blonde doctor? Or maybe you like Patrick Swayze? (I can’t tell if you’re male or female from your username.)

Or is it when the polar bear falls on that fat guy? Roadhouse is a good movie! Don’t apologize for liking it.

Conagher - that’s the name.

All of the Monty Python movies
Gulliver’s Travels
(although I’ve only seen it aired a few times, I’ve watched it every time)
Dick
The Wizard of Oz
Star Wars
The Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi

I’m sure there are more that I’m not thinking of at the moment. I’ve just seen Grosse Pointe Blank for the first time this weekend, but I will watch it again.

My Blue Heaven
Godfather
Scarface
Independence Day (I watched this three times last weekend)
Carrie
Gaslight
North by Northwest
Rear Window
Ghostbusters
Apollo 13
The 'burbs
The Right Stuff
Iron Eagle (They’re OURS dad - they’re AMERICANS)
Neighbors

Virtual? Who said anything about virtual? :stuck_out_tongue: But what the hell…at least it gives you a sig-line to place in the rotation if you get tired of what you’ve got.

I’ve seen “Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid” a whole lot.
It’s so romantic and funny, and one of the few US movies to show South America.
For a while it was the only tape I owned, handed down from one of my brothers when I was too young to buy them.

Now I’m just too uninterested to buy movies. I rent them, and haven’t rented any twice.

Aliens
Ferris Beuler’s Day Off
The Princess Bride
Braveheart
True Lies
Forrest Gump
That’s about all I can think of now…

Dirty Dancing
Pretty Woman
Ghost
The Goonies
American Beauty (I watched it ten times the first weekend I rented it!)
Radio Flyer
A Christmas Story (one year they played it for 24 hours straight…I only missed two showings!)
Lady & the Tramp
Casablanca

And I loooooooove Encino Man, although that is painfully humiliating to admit, because I still think Brendan Frasier is the sexiest man alive, equaled only by George Clooney (I could watch ER over and over again, but you didn’t ask about TV :))
