Motivated in part by this discussion, I went out and bought a package of Mr. Brain’s Faggots. They were entirely edible, due in a large part to the high-fat, high-sodium yumminess of the “Rich West Country Sauce”, but were disturbingly squishy. I shan’t be adding them to my shopping list again any time soon.
