Mr. Rogers essay and eulogy

A couple years ago I read an essay by Tom Junod of Esquire magazine about his meeting with Fred Rogers. It was a very gentle and touching piece. He followed later with a eulogy when Mr. Rogers died.

I have been trying to find it but the web archive link is disconnected and Esquire’s site doesn’t seem to have it. Does any know where I can find these articles?

Are you referring to this article?

Yes, except that is just an excerpt of the article. The full article was several pages long.

This one?

OK. You’ve just made me cry.

I assume you’ve seen his Lifetime Achievement Award.

Thank you! That’s the one. Now if I can only find the eulogy he wrote as well.

I think this is what you’re looking for but the link that the author uses doesn’t work so it’s impossible to prove it’s accuracy. I couldn’t find it on Esquire’s site either.

Is that the one where he sees Mr. Rogers naked?

No, I haven’t! Thanks for the linkage, I’ll go watch when I’m home [can’t access youTube here @ work].
