Mrs. Kunilou is excited (???) because tomorrow she gets a complete knee replacement. Her knee has been chewing itself up for many years, and her orthopedist finally threw in the towel and advised she get it.

Funny, the prospect of having large chunks of bone taken out and replaced with equally large chunks of metal would scare me, but she’s really up for it, and hoping that, after she gets through rehab, the pain will be gone, or at least better.

Everyone please keep a good thought for her.

Excited?? That’s probably the best pre-surgical attitude you can have, now that I think about it.

Congratulations, it’s a knee!

A nice, new titanium job. Mother and joint are doing fine. She’s in a good deal of pain this evening, but she’s also on a lot of drugs, so maybe it evens out.
