The WaPo article seems to suggest that Melania is an ambitious and hard-driving person in her own right, and much more a supporter of Donald than we commonly think. She has enough influence and leverage that she could, and did, force Donald to renegotiate her pre-nup with him, largely to assure a better inheritance for Barron and his place in the Trump Organization.

Thanks. I was surprised to learn from the Washington Post article, if true, that she encouraged him to run for President (I have read otherwise in the past), that she largely agrees with his policies, and that she now wants him to be reelected.

I was surprised to read that she encouraged him to run for re-election as well. I wonder how the timing on this agreement getting finalized relates to that several week period where she disappeared. There were rumors of plastic surgery, or that she had left him.

There is nothing bad for her now , she does not appear in public much and she gets a big staff to help her run the house. I guess if she put up with him this long she’s OK with him.
