Has there been any recent word on his illness? I notice from the site that he was forced to cancel a major tour, and even though they didn’t specify the nature of the problem, I’d like to know how he’s doing.
I know that like me, you’re a Kinks fan, so I was hoping you might have some word?

Not Ms. Boods, but I was in Barnes and Noble last night browsing the magazines. I found a British music magazine with a cover article about Ray Davies and how Konk Studios is up for sale. I read the article and it mentioned nothing about him being ill, but there were only one or two current pictures of him and he was wearing a hat and a scarf. There was a sidebar article about his brother Dave which talked about his life-threatening stroke a few years ago. The two brothers communicate rarely, and only by e-mail. Cripes, Ray is close to 70 and Dave is 63. Ray said he still believes he can be Mr. Right for a woman.
It made me nostalgic, thinking of the days…
