MSN Email Question

OK, Here’s the deal. I am not an MSN customer, but a friend of mine who lives in another city is. (thereby eliminating my ability to sit at his computer)

He wants to block emails from a certain person.

When I google re: MSN Email, I only seem to come up things that aren’t related, or are specifically related to HotMail.

Since his email address is xxxx @msn.com, I assume it’s not the same as the hotmail interface.

Can anyone here on the boards give me step by step directions on how to block an email address on an MSN account?

Thanks.

Actually, I think it IS the same as the Hotmail interface. I’ve worked on my aunt’s machine a few times and she’s got MSN and I’m 99% sure that she is able to login at hotmail.com as hername@msn.com, and when one checks their MSN mail they are taken to Hotmail (try going to http://mail.msn.com - should take you to a page asking for your .NET Passport with a big HOTMAIL logo at the top.

If you want to help your friend and he can’t do it himself, ask for his MSN login info (if that’s cool), go to www.hotmail.com and login as him. Just make sure you’re logging in as dude@msn.com not just dude or dude@hotmail.com

Then you (or he) can go to the OPTIONS link in the top right, then the MAIL tab on the left, then Junk Email Protection, and finally BLOCK SENDERS
