Anyone out there watch the MTV top 100 videos of 2000. Personally, I hate N*Stink, Crackstreet, and all the others, but my main complaint is that the people that really do the work, the song writers (or writer in the case of NSync and Backstreet) get no credit at all. I think, in retribution for their lazy ways, the “bands” should be reuired to acknowledge the true artists in some way other than fucking size .0001 font on the back of the jewel case booklet. What the hell, they sing and dance (which, really, a lot of people can do just as well), look cute (which is debateable, I think Britney looks pretty damn nasty and Christina’s too skinny), and get paid buckets of money, and for what? I agree that they work hard, but what seperates them from every other starving singer/dancer in L.A. (other than luck). Yeah, Korn, Sublime, and Rage forver. =)
the others because they are on MTV. ey are on MTV.
Dear Goddess, my EYES! What the hell were you typing on? Crack?! Or did you just bash your head repeatedly into the keyboard until that spewed out? One million monkeys typing on one million keyboards would eventually come up with Macbeth or … uh… this…
I think the rant was about the real artists not getting the credit they deserve. Okay. They should get a few more kudos but really, they had to know the score going into this business and they are paid for their work so… bummer!
I don’t even know why I’m replying to this… bored I guess! Oh, yeah, and the opportunity to bash… ah shit. It’s a new year and I already broke one of my resolutions. Damn!
