Does anyone remember the Muppet Frog Prince?
It was one of my favorite shows as a kid and I’d love to find it on DVD but it only seems to be on VHS. Does anyone know if it is out there on DVD or if it will be coming out soon?

You posted everything wackbirds! I mean, backwards!
I don’t know the answer about your DVD question. I certainly remember that special, though. I was never a big fan of Robin, Kermit’s nephew, but I remember Sweetums had a great part.
I searched Amazon, and there appears to be no listing for it, so you may be out of luck.
My kids and I loved this movie. I can still sing the Sweetums song, which I used to sing to them as a lullaby sometimes:
Sweetums, lay your ugly head
Down upon your wretched bed.
Close your eyes and go to sleep,
Rest, you hulking heap.
Sweetums is so sweet and cute,
Go to sleep, you stu-pid brute.

I’ve never seen a DVD version of it, though. We had a home taped VHS – The Muppet Frog Price, Hey, Cinderella, and The Muppet Musicians of Bremen. Wore that sucker out.
I haven’t seen a version of the Frog Prince on video anywhere in a while. The wife and I are huge Muppet fans. I’ve got copies of Hey Cinderella and Muppet Classic Theater on VHS that we bought off ebay a few years ago. Classic theater includes several similar pieces. It’s a collection of classic stories told with the Muppets: Three Little Pigs, King Midas, Rumpelstiltskin, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, The Elves and the Shoemaker and The Emperor’s New Clothes.
Oh, I remember it. “Have a popover, froggie!” Last time I saw it was on Nickelodeon, years ago. No telling if it’ll ever see the light of day again.
Nigh’m ineteen, Nigh’m ineteen,
By mirthday’s dotay,
A gig birl, a loman,
a wady, say they.
*poster is neither eineteen nor a loman.
One of my sisters managed to find a copy on the internets somewhere. I don’t remember whether it was DVD or VHS.
