This SOB ran these two over TWICE. WTF is it with men that do this? It’s not bad enough that you hit the woman that you supposedly love (one of the prime suspects is this womans boyfriend) but to come BACK and run over her daughter too?!? What the HELL did SHE do to you? People like you should be beaten till near death and then allowed to heal then beaten again. Ad Infinitum. I hope the police catch you before someone like me does. No… wait… I take that back. I hope someone like me finds you before they do. People like you don’t deserve the waste of time and money it will take for your trial.
In an unrelated incident. The only witness to a Quadruple murder was a three year old child who is now in protective custody. news story
Seems one of the suspects now in custody was a boyfriend of one of the women killed.
The reason I’m pitting with these stories in my OP is because I’m angry at these men that beat/murder their wives/girlfriends and innocent children. WTF is wrong with you bastards?!? Does it make you feel like a BIG MAN to beat on defensless women and children? Do you orgasm when the bullet goes into their heads or when you hit them with your car? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? DAMNIT GROW UP.   I don’t understand why people do things like this. I really don’t. Even after all the psych classes I have taken I STILL don’t understand. Can ANYONE understand these bastards?
I also don’t understand how anyone could have the energy left to desire revenge. For all the horror, all it makes me want to do is mourn, and I become wracked with guilt that I am alive. The innocent ones, the ones with a hope and a future, had to die.
The quotes in the Gazette from friends and neighbours just made excuses for him over and over and over. “They were having marital problems. I guess he just snapped.”
Until men stop beating their loved ones it will be very difficult for me to argue against radical feminists. The incredibly disproportionate statistics of men versus women who initiate violence stands as stark testimony to a severe imbalance in societal norms. While there is much myth to the concept of “Male Privilege” there is little myth to male domination.
Without wishing to belittle the disgusting nature of what goes on within the United States, please imagine for a moment what it must be like for women in ultra-repressive societies that still have horrors like “honor killings” and religiously sanctioned gang rapes. It is this sort of flagrant misogyny that makes me believe democratic representation is an unalienable human right. The longer such wholesale discrimination goes on against over half the world’s population, the more I shall believe that democracy may need to be installed by force in the worst offending nations.
The sad thing is that had this woman in the OP defended herself and killed the bastard first, she’d probably have ended up in prison.
It’s amazing how a system who “doesn’t have enough resources” to protect battered women suddenly have more than enough cops, lawyers, etc. when one of them fights back and rids the earth of their batterer.
There’s more kinds of violence than murder. Therefore, I’m still waiting for a cite about “incredibly disproportionate statistics of men versus women who initiate violence”. (And to be clear, I mean domestic violence in particular.)
Interestingly, the corona of the sun is much hotter than the surface.
Actually, there’s no need to post any cite here. I don’t want to hijack this thread (at least not any farther than I already have - sorry), which should be focused on (rightfully) vilifying the fucktard who performed the unspeakable acts mentioned in the OP.
That’s not nearly as true as used to be but I agree with your point.
I think there should be a new law. If you get more than 2 domestic violence calls against you then the cops should be able to kick the living snot out of you when they arrive, including batons.
I guess my best friend is half way there, since when he had to have his former roommate (female) move out for not paying her share of the rent for 3 months, she called the police and told them he beat her.
Thats just WRONG! It’s women like that who make it harder on the women that are truly abused. I hope she never has to suffer this horror but it’s all to frequent so she probably will.
Zenster The abuse suffered by women across the globe is horrendous I know. I actually did my college thesis on the abuse of the Sudanese female. Did you know that female genital mutilation is ritually done to girls in Sudan? Did you also know that it’s considered “normal” for a woman to be treated as a “possession” ?
The horrors of being a female in a third world country are great. Even with all the violence in America against women I’m STILL glad I live in a nation that DOESN’T think I’m lower than cattle…
BlackKnight, you have got to be kidding. Do you honestly think that the men’s prisons are stuffed to bulging with mere purse snatchers while all sorts of murderous women get off the hook just because they can afford better lawyers? Yes, women are finally beginning to catch up with men in the arena of violent crime, but there are no separate numbers for the killing of abusive spouses. Here’s the chart’s URL:
Notice how the male population number is getting ready to top 5,000,000 while the female population number is below 1,000,000? Or are you unwilling to accept the figures published by the United States Department of Justice?
Here’s more information on intimate crime. From this URL:
http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/bjs/cvict_c.htm#relate Intimate violence[ul][li] In 2001, women experienced an estimated 588,490 rape, sexual assault, robbery, aggravated assault and simple assault victimizations at the hands of an intimate, down from 1.1 million in 1993. In 1993, men were victims of about 160,000 violent crimes, and in 2001 men were victims of about 103,220 violent crimes by an intimate partner. [/li][sup]Bolding added. [li] Intimate violence is primarily a crime against women – in 1998, females were the victims in 72% of intimate murders and the victims of about 85% of nonlethal intimate violence. [li] Intimates (current and former spouses, boyfriends and girlfriends) were identified by the victims as the perpetrators of about 1% of all workplace violent crime.[/ul][/li]**Intimate Partner Violence **
Provides information on violence by intimates (current or former spouses, girlfriends, or boyfriends) since the redesign of the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS). The redesigned survey has new questions about violence by intimates. The report covers trends in intimate violence, characteristics of victims (race, sex, age, income, ethnicity, and whether the victims live in urban, suburban, or rural areas), type of crime (physical assault, verbal threats), and trends for reporting to police. Intimate victimizations measured include rape, sexual assault, robbery, aggravated assault, and simple assault. Data on murder by intimates are also given. The data for this report came from the NCVS and the FBI’s Supplementary Homicide Reports.
Highlights include the following:
**Lethal **[ul][li] Intimate partners committed fewer murders in each of the 3 years 1996, 1997, and 1998 than in any other year since 1976. [/li]
[li] Between 1976 and 1998, the number of male victims of intimate partner homicide fell an average 4% per year and the number of female victims fell an average 1%.[/ul]Nonlethal[ul] The number of female victims of intimate violence declined from 1993 to 1998. In 1998 women experienced an estimated 876,340 violent offenses at the hands of an intimate, down from 1.1 million in 1993. [/li]
[li] In both 1993 and 1998, men were victims of about 160,000 violent crimes by an intimate partner. [/ul][/li]Does this answer your question? Now please answer one of mine.
Were you completely unaware of the well known and historic disproportion of gender based crime statistics or were you just acting incredibly stupid to make someone else do your homework for you? If either of these questions are true, you must be living in a hole or, perhaps, under a bridge. pencilpusher, you’ll be happy to know that during a momentary lapse of reason, American lawmakers made it grounds for asylum if a woman was trying to avoid female “circumcision” (AKA, clitorectomy or genital mutilation). One of the sickest things of all is that older women usually perform this horrific procedure on unwitting girls. If such a thing was done to men, there would be blood flowing in the gutters until it stopped. Alas, it’s only women being rendered sexually dysfunctional and goodness knows we need to stop their lustful and seductive urges that so often lead poor hapless and virtuous men astray.
