Music Fans - Have you heard of Pandora?

Hello Fellow Dopers and Music Fans -

My brother turned me on to a website that is so freaking cool I simply must share it with the teeming millions:

Pros: I have found several new musicians that were not even in my airspace, much less on my radar screen.

Cons: It costs $36 bucks for a year’s access - so that’s relatively steep (especially compared to the Dope) but I thought everyone should at least check out the free trial.

Anyways - don’t work for 'em, don’t know 'em - just liked the website and wanted to share with you guys!

This thing looks incredible, just what I’ve been hoping for, a way to find oldies that are the kind I like, not just the hits of a particular year.

Unfortunately I’m trying it at a computer without speakers at work, so I have to wait until I get home to be sure, but it seems to be finding all the right music.

It’s bloody amazing. I was planning on posting about it today.

Note that if you can handle some ads (non-popup, as far I as I can tell) you don’t have to pay a dime.

Let me point you guys away from my zombie thread to this one.

Oh. The one with the descriptive title…
