My girlfriend was watching Schindler’s List recently, and recognized a piece of background music but couldn’t place it. She sang it to me over the phone, but I couldn’t recognize it, so I turn to the collective wisdom of the SDMB… The piece in question is playing around 5-6 minutes in, in the very first scene we see Schindler; it’s the background music in the cafe he’s at. Does anybody know what this piece is?
If you mean the tango the orchestra in the restaurant is playing, its “De Una Cabeza.”
IIRC, it was also used in Scent of a Woman, and maybe True Lies.
My mistake, it’s “**Por ** Una Cabeza.”
