Music ID, please.

I hear this piece of Music all the time now and would like to know what it is. It was used in Kill Bill Vol. 1, Team America and at least one commercial.

Basically it is a three note (chord?) blast of horns: bah-BAH-bah, followed by a waka-waka-waka guitar and a rolling bass. It’s usually used when a group of people walk toward the camera in slo-mo. It signifies "These are bad Mothaf*ka’s and they are hear to get the job done!

Where did this music originate and what else was it used in? Sorry about the vague description.

Not a clue in the whole world.
But I did find this for you. Maybe it will help?

I think it might be The Grand Duel (Parte Prima) by Luis Bacalov. Track 3 on the Kill Bill Soundtrack.

Listen To A Sample

Thanks, but that’s not it. I listened to every sample and couldn’t find it. The closest I got was the Ironside theme, but that’s not it either. Thanks again for the effort.

Damn, this is frustrating!

Apologies, that sample is from the middle of song. The portion of the song that I think you’re talking about is from the beginning 30 seconds.

I probably should’ve checked that out. I’ll try and find a sample of the beginning of the song.

It’s Battle Without Honor or Humanity - track 9 on the above link - the very end of the sample is the bit you want.

I know you said you checked out the entire soundtrack, but perhaps it could be the Tomayasu Hotei, “Battle Without Honor Or Humanity?” That’s what I immediately thought of when I saw the OP.

I KNEW I was typing too slowly.

YES!! thank you snorlax and buncombe, and thanks again to Kid A for providing the link. I didn’t listen to the sample all the way through the first time. :smack: I was sure it was an old funk song, what with the horns and the waka-waka. I guess not though.
