This is one of those where, if I had just heard it once I wouldn’t care, but I hear that piece of music seemingly everywhere!! Its a piece of music in the back ground on older Quizno ads, and on GSN (Game Show Network) ads for the newer original series like Celeberity BlackJack and Extreme Dodgeball. Its kinda jazzy, upbeat, and starts off with the same one second and a half (or so) piece being played twice back to back.
what’s that called this website may be able to help you. It is where I found out the name of the song the Geico Gecko is groovin’ to in the commercial with the tunnel. (the CB Song by the Legendary Shack Shakers, btw.)
No, this isnt a bump.
And niether is this.
This piece of music, that I am STILL looking for the name of, shows up in “Team America” … durring the scene where Team america is walking… kinda Jazzy upbeat insturmental piece, and is also used on the Trailers.
Any Ideas on what this piece of music is??
I’ve edited the title of the thread, at the request of the OP.
Is it Battle Without Honor or Humanity (by way of this link)? IMDB lists it as on the Team America soundtrack, but I don’t remember the exact music that well, though this has a similar feel for sure.
It was in the Kill Bill Soundtrack/Trailer as well.
as Lucy screams to schroder ““THATS IT!!!”” thank you. How on earth did you find this out? I mean Ive seen tons of commercials credit the songs, but not GSN or Quiznos.
Im glad to here it in full… as these sources only used the most repated “measure” in the piece. and a short measure at that.
I noticed it as the song from Kill Bill.
One of the local japanese resturants also uses it while they do a big Kill Bill Parody.
Oh. You wanted the “walking towards the camera” music.
Why didn’t you say so?
Do you mean Benihana? If not, Benihana does it too.
So then I guess it would be incorrect to simply call it “The Kill Bill Theme” or “The Theme from Kill Bill”?
+1 for the SDMB
-1 for ignorance.
Let’s give Cafe Society a shot at this thread.
Off to Cafe Society.

Because I haven’t seen Kill Bill, 1 or 2.
Then again, there are a LOT of movies I haven’t seen. Especially the older ones. Rest assured I have seen, and own the Matrix, and Memento. ((Two biggies if you ask me))
That’s it.
I assume they aren’t local then.
So … the chefs at Benihana walk toward your table in a line, in slow motion?
