The Fall. What do I win?
To the OP: My suggestion would be the Van Morrison album “Into The Music”, especially the original B-side (last four songs). Very seductive.

My undying respect.
I’m coming back once more because this thread must not die without a mention of Dusty Springfield’s “Dusty In Memphis”. If this doesn’t get you in the mood, then nothing does.
My choices don’t really seem coherent. Different times, different moods, different soundtracks. Maybe that’s how it should be.
No Ordinary Love - Sade
Catch The Rainbow (live) - Rainbow
Busenfreunde - Tosca (plus countless other Kruder&Dorfmeister tracks)
Feelin’ Love - Paula Cole (isn’t this on everyone’s list?)
Wicked Game - Chris Isaak
This Corrosion - Sisters of Mercy (original version, no remixes thank you)
Fields Of Gold - Sting
**Black Coffee **(entire album) - Peggy Lee
I Wanna Get Next To You - Rose Royce
Every Day Of The Week - Jade
Good Times - Aretha Franklin (if the mood’s right)
First one that came to mind was Black Velvet by Alannah Myles
Constant Craving KD Lang or Channel Cole
Natural Woman Carole King
quite a few of the ones already listed - especially Magic Man
