Music that should be in fight scenes

So, I’m sure we’ve all found ourselves listening to music on the radio, and thought to ourselves “man, this song would make for an AWESOME fight scene in a movie!”

So, list your songs, and what kind of fight scene you think they’d go good in

My recommendation is Chop Suey by System of a Down, especially where the lyrics go “Father into your hands, I commend my spirit, Father into your hands, why have you forsaken me? etc.”. Sorta gives me a visual of someone in a desperate sword fight against many foes, perhaps sacrificing himself so that others may be able to escape, or else having been left behind or otherwise waiting for much needed help from others.

So, any other music/fight scene ideas?

It may already have been used somewhere, but I think Prodigy’s Breathe would be good for a series of short fight scenes interspersed with pursuits.

Yakkety Sax, of course.

“I Predict A Riot” by the Kaiser Chiefs should be in a action scene in one of the new Zombie movies. ITs not what the song is about but with lines like
“I tried to get in my taxi
A man in a tracksuit attacked me
He said that he saw it before me
Wants to get things a bit gory”

I always imagine zombies.

“Nemo”, by Nightwish.

Actually, pretty much anything by Nightwish.

“Breathe” as well as “Firestarter” by Prodigy. I think both were used in Charlie’s Angels films.

A lot of stuff by Ministry.

Off the top of my head (and because I happened to listen to it this morning), “Hitback” by Hate Dept.

“Everything’s Coming Up Roses.”

[li]“Bodies” by Drowning Pool[/li][li]“Payback” by Flaw.[/li][li]“Hair of the Dog” by Nazareth (“now you’re messing with a… SON OF A BITCH!”)[/li][/ul]

The Decapodian national anthem.

Used to great effect in The One with Jet Li, an otherwise pedestrian film, with a kickass fight scene in the beginning.

Singing in the Rain.

BMalion, that clever devil, stole my answer.

I don’t know. I think that song is better in torture and/or rape scenes.

The Piña Colada Song - by Rupert Holmes

I agree…this song definitely makes me want to hit something.

CLAWPLACH!!
