I loved that UNKLE video, it’s disturbing in a good way.
The videos for “Push It”, and to a lesser extent “I Think I’m Paranoid”, both by Garbage, were the most disturbing to me. Not because I didn’t like them, but because I was young and it was the first time I had gotten certain… feelings…
I haven’t seen a music video since 1991…so this is all news to me.
I usually don’t have cable and when I do, there’s not much actual music on MTV these days…

Madonna’s “Like a Prayer”, “Express Yourself”, and “Justify My Love” were the cutting edge of racyness when I last followed the videos. I guess compared to whats on now, it would be sort of like seeing ladies underwear section of a Sears catalog.
This all makes me think of a Bloom County cartoon. Allow me to paraphrase Opus:
You know what my favorite song was? Yesterday. It was so calming… it made me think of rainbows and porpoises.
Finally they made a video of Yesterday featuring half-naked women surrounded by explosions. You know what I think of when I here Yesterday now?

There was one I saw with Bjork, (I think that’s the spelling), and crap was spewing out of her nipples… I think it was a ribbon.
