During the 6 rounds of Musical Instrument Madness, I received more complaints and grievances about these two instruments getting eliminated early than all other instruments combined. Because of that, and because these two were both eliminated by the [pun]grand winner[/pun], I’ve decided to run one more round, with these two against each other, just for fun. It’ll run until there’s 24 hours without a new vote. Oh, and I’m voting this time, since I’m one of the outraged fanboys.
oh, my bad. Pipe Organ actually got knocked out by Electric Guitar. Strangly, I think if it won and went up against Grand Piano, it would have advanced and this really WOULD be the finals here.
Oh and Gorilla Man, I’m going to have to count your vote for Pipe Organ since it’ll be the first thing I see when I tally, especially since there’s no mention by name of the other nominee.
And I must confess that I didn’t bother to vote in the piano vs trumpet final because I just couldn’t get excited about either one. Rather like a lot of superbowls, actually–the earlier playoff games were just more interesting.
Pipe organ! They have over 5 million pipes! It takes 8 years to clean them! They are made with heavy metals! They require all five limbs to play! Come on, people!
