I saw this old classic a while back, and it is an enjoyable movie. I especially liked the music-does anybody know who composed the score?
Rex Harrison does a fine job (portraying Adolphus Cousins-Isn’t that a neat name?).
I’m sure G. B. Shaw liked this film!
The score is by William Walton, a well known British composer who also did the scores for Laurence Olivier’s film versions of “Hamlet”, “Henry V” and “Richard III”, as well as many other films and orchestral works. He even wrote a piece for the coronation of Elizabeth II.
Fell in love with Wendy Hiller watching that show.
