Hey guys,
I’m a musical theatre composer in NYC, and the show I wrote, The Ledge: A Song Cycle is having its world premiere July 25th! If you’re not doing anything at 7pm, come on down! It’d be great to have people there not just for support but also for feedback… this is your chance to be heard, as I welcome any kind of suggestions or criticism!
Here’s the synopsis for the show:
“This 50-minute cabaret-style musical tells the story of four strangers who find themselves on the same ledge at the same time to end their lives. As the photographs of memory flash before their eyes (of both good times and bad), we are offered a glimpse into the lives of people who, in the face of death, are discovering what it means to feel alive again.”
The show is Friday, July 25th at The Duplex, located at 61 Christopher St. (at 7th Ave.) in Greenwich Village, 7pm. Cover is $8 and a 2-drink minimum. You can listen to the opening number and learn more about the show at http://www.myspace.com/theledgemusical.
A big thank you to anyone who makes it to the show, and to SkipMagic for approving this thread!
