It seems like just yesterday that I was posting asking for advice about what to do when she was born and now she is already sitting up on her own and eating grownup food. How did this happen!?
Or take a look at thisKodak commercial from the 60s. Except if you’re young enough to have a 6 month old it looks really old and corny. But I just turned around. Once I was young, and now I’m old. It’s unbelievable, when I saw that commercial when I was a kid, I thought that looked like a really cool camera.
Treasure these moments. I’m not saying you shouldn’t treasure the rest of the moments, but these are really special moments. Anyway I gotta go. Something got in my eye.
Well, they eventually stop growing up; most girls do it within their teen years. That doesn’t mean you stop having “but how can she already be…” moments.
She’s beautiful! You’ve clearly invested these first six months wisely
My baby turned 11 months old on Tuesday, my oldest will be 4 on Sunday. It just keeps going so fast. She started kindergarten in February and next week is the end of Term 1! I can see this year will be over before we know it.
She said mamamama (translation: Anything for you my wonderful mother)
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to slow down when things are going well, the only time it will feel like she’s aging slowly is when she’s going through what you know is only a temporary stage but one that makes you want to lock her up for her own safety. THOSE take forever
My baby is turning 22 in a couple of months and while it wasn’t slow it sure has been a wonderful trip the entire time with both her and her brother. Even the times I wanted to lock them up for their own safety (from me) are good now for embarrasing stories
