My brother-in-law is making jokes about divorcing my baby sister on facebook

And doing it in a place that he knows her brother will see.

No longer. I unfriended him after my initial post; I couldn’t see any point to a non-violent response, and no point to a violent response that didn’t involve murder, and no sense in going to jail for murdering him.

Yeah, that’s fucking low.

Oh I thought he was joking about getting a divorce. What he’s doing is even more tasteless :frowning:

Yeah, I can see how my OP could be read that way; it was unclear. I’m quite overprotective, but I wouldn’t have been angered to read something like, “If the Littlest Rhymer doesn’t stop complaining about how I unroll the toilet paper roll, I’m going to divorce her and become a monk!”

I heard the OP’s sister so fat, she jumped in the air and got stuck!

On Facebook?

pfft

Everyone knows that’s what Livejournal is for.

Please tell me I’m not the only one that couldn’t parse why her brother-in-law was divorcing the OP’s baby SITTER.

All women have girl cooties. You have to learn to deal with it.

Is this the same couple whose daughter has been having some difficulty getting her parents to accept her questioning of fundamentalist Christianity?

I was about to ask that same question.

How is your niece doing, btw? That thread was very interesting to read.

You are not the only one. I’m SO disappointed.

IANAL, but can’t this knowledge be used for your sister’s side in the divorce? It always seems to me the smartest guys who get divorced never say a thing to anyone while it’s in the process. Shit like that makes this guy look insecure and needy. Bringing this up in court might be good, no?

Fuck him for forgetting chivalry. He’s an ass.

Why don’t you just send him a message on facebook letting him know that he’s being a classless piece of shit, and the very least he could do for a woman he once loved is not publicly humiliate her during what may be the worst period of her entire life? Just a thought.

I understood it right away. But then again, I’m a little sister twice over, and that’s how my brothers would react as well.

No, twitter!

I think that thread was about one of Skald’s older sisters.

Ye gods, no. That’s one of my cousins. I never post about this particular sister because she’s not annoying in any fashion.

First cousin once removed, actually. She’s manged to avoid being grounded recently, so far as I know. She was over here yesterday being a nerd.

Nah. One of my older sisters was having her daughter write a paper about Beowulf based only on the movie. The same sister had the husband trying to deal with his diabetes through the power of prayer. A different older sister had a daughter who got (righteously) reamed by a teacher for writing a paper on Leonardo without ever reading the source material she claimed. Still another older sister has a daugher who’s ignoring what’s probably diabetes. And my son’s daughter whom I have decided to call my stepdaughter is the one who moved in with me and who doesn’t know how to stand up to men because her mother taught her it was better to be slapped around than unloved.

Wow, I just realized that I’m like Sampiro, only not as funny.

Because I de-friended him yesterday. Besides, that wouldn’t be helpful.
