So, some guy shot two people near Roosevelt Mall (the U.S.'s second largest indoor mall as they like to say all the time) and ran away. He shot these people right by my office building on Ring Road (it’s called Ring Road because it circles the mall). The shooter is still at large and all the office buildings on either side of Ring and Stewart are on lockdown. The mall, which I think is the first place the shooter would run, is not on lockdown.
I think the Kenyan thing has got people very nervous. Still, I’m hungry and I’m sure the guy with the gun is loooong gone. Can I please go out to lunch?
May you be released for lunch soon. From the article, it does sound like he’s probably gone, if they’re correct and he’s a disgruntled former employee.
Biggirl, firstly congrats on your username and post. Secondly well done for waiting more than a few seconds to get some grub, with police up there there would be little margarine for error and leaving would definitely have been at the least a missed steak or maybe even nuts.
