“Mr. Nifong did not act as a minister of justice, but as a minister of injustice,” Brocker said."

WHY SHOULD I FUCKING CARE?!?
Huh. 3 guys are falsely charged w/a heinous crime, one that could at least land them in prison for many years, and taint their post prison life (if they have one), and the prosecutor discovered early on that the physical evidence supported their innocence; and instead of releasing said evidence to the defense (as he’s required to), hauled the case in front of the grand jury (supressing the exculpatory evidence), causing them and their families much anguish, got them tossed out of school, cost them scads in lawyer bills, all so he could court a demographic and win an election.
and the fact that it took so fucking long to: a. have the charges dropped and b. have any sort of negative consequence for the rouge prosecutor doesn’t concern you?
Why should WE decide whether you should care, or explain why you should? If you either don’t care, or can’t see why you should, feel free to fuck right off to another thread, instead of being a threadshitter.
