My Dad died this morning after having been moved to the hospital in my hometown last night. He had a stable night but then his blood pressure and heart rate deteriorated rapidly this morning.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My mum died under fairly similar circumstances on 22nd February. It was a terrible shock and we’re still reeling from it. I can’t say that I know how you feel, that would be nonsense, but I empathise and sympathise with you. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, and let people be nice to you if you can bear it. I’ve found people to be very kind, often unexpectedly so, and it seems to help them too.
