Anyone seen this?
I watched it over the weekend, and loved it.
a quick plot summary from IMDB
My initial reaction is that a broke 27-year-old aspiring filmmaker from New Jersey already has a better shot at dating Drew Barrymore (or at least getting on IMDB talkling about it) than a divorced 43-year-old city power plant employee from Ohio or a 19-year-old electric-bass playing trust-fund baby from Connecticut.
Bah. He’d have a better chance at getting a date with Drew Carey.
For some reason, Blockbuster had a huge promotion going with this movie. I had free rental coupon, so what did I have to lose? I had no expectations, and ended up being pleasantly surprised. I liked the scene where he gets into the “Charlie’s Angel’s II” party and then almost chickens out. Well, he does chicken out, but his friend steps in and introduces him.
