Most people seem to claim that they don’t care if this is true or not. In that case, the continuation of the thread depends entirely on Skewbald. I have a feeling he’ll be discouraged both by what people have said here and in the Pit, however.

As old as he claims to be. Nothing he’s said here has really given me reason to doubt that.
C’mon Pluto, let us have our fun. I expect that it all has some firm grounding in reality and love/lust is causing our young friend to overdramatize some things.
I’m only 23 and I’m feeling all whispy and nostalgic. At least I have been able to do just what Skewbald did: Work up the guts to ask the pretty girl out. (BTW, she sounds wonderful.) Anyway, when I worked up the guts, things went marvelously for me, too.

I think the picnic idea was great, I was going to suggest that… and the boat ride is even better…
also, you should probably go to the beach again… there’s something about the ocean that is very romantic…

Yes, this is MPSIMS, so even if this is a mundane and pointless fictional story, there is no need to bash it here. As many have said, Skewbald’s story is entertaining us, take it or leave it at that.
Personally, I do not have enough information to base a conclusion on (and neither does anyone else, IMHO), so I will reserve judgement.

Whether it’s true or not, and notwithstanding the other threads that have been started on the subject of this story’s veracity, I know I’ve enjoyed it. Very good and entertaining story.

What on earth does age have to do with objectivity? If anything, this comment makes you sound biased and therefore not objective. Can you explain what you meant by this?

Skew, if you are a teenager and are experiencing this, good for you. Fuck the rest. It really doesn’t matter what they think anyway. If you are writing fiction, keep it up. You’ve got a whole built in audience eating out of the palm of your hand. But I would recommend against telling if you are fibbing. You’d break hearts.
