I am at my wits end here. The fact that I did it to myself doesn’t make it any easier!
It started like this… I somehow disabled a dll file which meant that most java wasn’t working on my computer. This was a problem, because I like to use Dialpad to save $$ and it requires javascript. So, I thought I would use the rescue disk that came with the computer (my machine came with most stuff installed.) That went find, but I then found that I couldn’t reach my email.
I had installed Outlook on my machine because I like it better than express. I thought “fine - I will install it again.” (Remember, this all seemed sensible at the time.) I did, but then Outlook opened empty. Where is all my stuff?
I swear I didn’t delete anything, but I can’t reach my email, calendar or contacts. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Sassy,
You will likely have to set up Outlook again for your e-mail service. If you are using something like Earthlink (or some other ISP that provides e-mail) call their tech support and explain exactly what the situation is. They should be able to direct you to getting it to work
