My family on Scooby Doo!

First a Jeopardy question, then a History channel special, and now I Scooby Doo!
Okay, I do understand that Scooby Doo was probably first, but that is the order I have witnessed these great events. Oh, and the Willie Nelson song fits in there somewhere too.

I am a Hatfield as in the Hatfields and McCoys.

I know some of you won’t be interested, but I think this is pretty cool, and had to share.

Jest don’ play none o’ that there bu-u-u-ug muzik.

Obvious question: Do you know any McCoys?

As a matter of fact I do.
A McCoy family live two houses down from my grandparents. The man ended up being their insurance agent, and I was pretty good friends with their daughter.
No, the fued did not carry on. Besides, there was a public handshake and end to it many years ago.
I do still have family that lives in the hills though. I had an uncle shot about eight years ago for runnin’ shine on someone elses’ territory.

So, tell me, which side was Romeo on and which side was Juliet on … hmm … maybe that was a different feud.

If a smart-alecky rabbit comes near one of you two’s houses, ignore him. He’ll probably make you dance a crazy square dance.

Did they have to throw you down on your back & hold you to get shoes on you, kid?

My hubby is always giving me a hard time about my hating to wear shoes! Thank you for the laugh.
Are you telling me that we have be mentioned on Bugsy Bunny also? Cool.
I know there is a Far Side cartoon about the family also. Way cool!
There was a Romeo and Juliete type story, and it ended just as badly.

I am really good natured about the whole thing.

Alright!!! They just mentioned my family on OZ tonight! A bit out of context but that’s okay.
The fued started as a land war, the pig and the girl just fueled it.

So, does adorable alt-rocker Juliana Hatfield figure anywhere on this family tree?
