I now own, the holy grail of cell-phones. Read and be dazzled and then tell me all about your fantabulous new toys.
The Phone (a lot smaller than it looks) is only a phone by virtue of the fact that I can make and recieve calls on it. It has a camera and camcorder built in, here is a piccie I took indoors. Those are two of my Barbas.
It is basically a hand-held computer, so I can play Doom, Worms and thousands of other games with advanced graphics. There is also a GameBoy emulator available for it. I read ebooks on it each night, and I can put full lenght movies on it to watch as well. Being that I am rarely anywhere that I have 2 hours to watch a movie, I have just encoded my Futurama episodes to watch instead. I can surf the regular web, and even connect to my favourite online game Valheru MUD through telnet. Let’s see, what else can I do… Oh yeah, I can use it as a basic GPS terminal, and set up actions so that it, for example, turns itsself off when I get to the airport or go to the cinema, or plays an alarm just before it is time for me to get off the bus. Very soon my bluetooth adapter will arrive and I will be able to use The Phone to, for example, control my PC like a remote control, and change songs in winamp from across the house.
Had it a week, I am sure I will discover more things I can do soon and the sweetest of all? Didn’t pay a penny, won it!

Holy sweet mother of poo… Your phone is a god among phones. Do me the honor of letting my petty phones form a shrine in praise of your phone! Please oh great owner of the Phone! Let me do your dishes and wash your car! I’ll even sacrifice some corded phones to your phones greatness.

Paid not a penny for it CBCD, won it in Nokiagame in November, we have waited 4 months for The Phone. They are available on ebay for about 350 USD however. Wearia, I’d let you touch it
I want samsung’s new watch phone + their new bluetooth wireless kit(it’s just an earbud, it detects your voice via the oscillations in your head! :eek: )
Isaw that phone but I’m getting the Samsung s105 instead. I don’t need a camera like that and I can get the s105 for $30 after some sweet Amazon.com rebates.
I gotta say it looks sharp but not having the standard 3X4 phone button setup would drive me friggin’ insane.

I have a Nokia 6310i - well, it’s for my job, so it’s technically not mine. It’s got a few nifty gadgets on it, like Blue Tooth (which I bever use) and GPRS (ditto). It works great in the car kit, but I am disappointed by the sound quality when you hold it to your ear. My 3 year old Ericsson T20 has much better sound quality, and is smaller to boot.
I like the idea of a digital camera inside a small phone, though. The picture quality in your link was pretty good.
I have the Sony Ericsson color screen and the bluetooth feature is awesome, even though I haven’t had much occasion to use it. Typing in all the names and phone numbers to the phonebook is a pain, but with bluetooth you can transfer the contents of one phone’s phone book to another phone (wife, husband, parent, kid) and save a lot of aggravating input. It’s very cool.
Holy Hell Boyo Jim, that is one MEAN telly, it is literally bigger than one of the 3 screens in my local cinema.
Harmonix, do you have a link to a pic of the earbud? I can only find non-wireless ones or the ones that go behind your ear.
It sounds like a dream come true, with the watch-phone it would be true Dick Tracy I am not going to go around with one of those little boom bluetooths, I would feel like a dork, and somone would just steal it off my head, 100 quid, poof. I would like one of those earbuds though and I would glue a little chain to it, and attach the other end to a stud, and put it through one of the holes in my ear, so if it fell out I wouldn’t loose it! :dreams:
