Thank you, everybody. That doesn’t sound sincere enough, but I mean it. This place is like a very large, very diverse third-family analog to me, and the fact that people care about others they’ve never even met speaks volumes about the type of folks you all are.

Dad would have liked you. He would have argued with every single one of you, but respected your abilities nonetheless.

silenus: I too, learned much from my father. I’m glad to have known him, and am proud to be his son. Take heart in that you are your father’s son.

That must suck. When my grandma died in late August I developed depression that lasted for about 4 months. Its hard, esp. if he was your last living parent.
