Some friends and I are planning a mini Woody Allen film festival this weekend and are trying to figure out just which films to include. My recommendations are:

  1. Take the Money and Run
  2. Sleeper
  3. Manhattan
  4. Annie Hall
  5. Zelig
  6. Crimes and Misdemeanors

Anyone else have any favorites that should thrown into the mix?

For shits & giggles I’ll suggest “Casino Royale,” not a Woody Allen-directed movie, but a James Bond spoof in which he plays a bad guy.

Also, “What’s Up Tiger Lily?,” Woody’s precursor to Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I’ll second “What’s Up Tiger Lily”. Get some cheap Chinese take-out or make chicken salad sandwiches for the occasion.
