I just found out that one of my (co-ed) fraternity sisters got into a car accident last Saturday, but no one in my fraternity knew until last night. Apparently she got sleepy and wasn’t paying attention, then suddenly someone crashed into the driver’s side of her car. She’s undergone a few surgeries - to what extent, I don’t know yet. I’m rounding up fraternity members to keep her company all this weekend until we find out if she’ll be ok.
This is really scary, I can’t believe that she was able to keep this between her family and a few close friends until now. No one knew until her big sib e-mailed the fraternity last night. Now we’re going en masse to make sure she’s ok tomorrow. I still have a final on Saturday, but you have to be there for a sister or brother in need. My little bro and I are getting tons of flowers and cards tomorrow before we visit her. Are get well balloons too obnoxious? I gotta get her a few teddy bears too. She loves teddy bears.
I don’t know how coherent this is, so I’ll end by saying I hope you send your hopes and wishes that she’ll pull through fine.
