I actually am sorta crushing on Annoyed. I think he’s brilliant. He’s like the clever court jester who makes a grand entrance at an event, an almost too-perfect caricature of the problems of the day. Who is immune to retribution–he is but a harmless fool after all–and as such is emboldened to show the emperor himself the folly of the current policy. Even as Annoyed aggravates, he educates his audience in the thought processes of the intellectually lazy, and in the way the Left’s plaintive cries for equality and fairness for all (apart from those who believe differently) are reduced to so much unintelligible bleating by the time they reach the ears of those who most need the message. Fascinating to watch, really, if somewhat repetitive. However, he seems tireless enough.

The language is maybe a bit flamboyant, but the next clause is fairly self explanatory. To really get at what was driving that post would take a wall of text (trust/thank me, I deleted a couple of efforts) that I am not inclined to write and edit, and that nobody would be very excited to wade through. Boiled down, Left and Right, such as they exist, are only interested in addressing each other in their own terms and with their own language. What one says comes off as, well, crazy to the other, and vice versa.
I don’t really see how Annoyed is demonstrating to liberals that they need to couch their ideas in conservative language in order for them to be understood by conservatives. Perhaps I’m not liberal enough to see it?
I mean, he talks in unmitigated idiocy, lies, and bile. Admittedly his opponents don’t tend to use idiocy and lies on him, preferring cutting wit and sarcastic truths, but when they resort to matching his bile it doesn’t seem to improve matters any.

I mean, what is ‘conservative language’ supposed to mean, anyway? Their terminology? But their terminology only differs from plain english in the slurs and biased terminology. Cuck. Gun-grabber. Pro-life. Snowflake. Stuff like that is literally the only difference between conservative language and normal-people language. And liberals actually have adopted “snowflake”, and it doesn’t really seem to have made conservatives happier.

My personal fave currently is liberal parents using hormonal blockers on their pre-pubescent children because their children might be trans. Gotta stop that puberty, dont ya know! Its science!
