ETA: beowulf, it’s very tongue-in-cheek, and shot in the style of 1970s science fiction/monster films. The astronaut is a billionaire who financed his own rocket, and is named ‘Eli Cologne’. Get it?

Really cool. It’s fun when you get some personal interest, even second hand, in major events like that.
I have a friend get a film he worked heavily on who got into Sundance. It was an amazing experience watching as it propagated through the circuit. They did fantastic - I’d say beyond their wildest dreams, but they dream big. So probably in line with their wildest dreams.
I hope your friend is equally successful.
I have a friend from high school who had a short film at Cannes a year or two ago. We donated money to help finish the film and are listed as Associate Producers! (Well, my wife is since she wrote the check)
I’ve never really been interested in short films or anything like that, but I am now.
