My Hands (Just slightly TMI maybe?)

My hands are always sticky. The fingers and palms, I mean.

I’m not doing anything to make them sticky. They just always are.

If I wash them, ten or twenty minutes later, they are sticky again.

This has just started in the last year or two. (I am 26.)

Any idea what the heck is going on?

Sticky? Or maybe sweaty? Hyperidrosis As I have gotten older, the symptoms are negligible.

That may be it!

I am in fact an excessively sweaty fellow, unfortunately. It doesn’t even necessarily have to be warm for me to start sweating. Maybe this sticky-palms thing is just related to that.

Have your blood sugar tested. Diabetics sometimes have sweet sweat.

Bingo! I used to sweat like a pig, and needed to be in constant air conditioning. Then I was diagnosed as diabetic, and got my blood sugar under control. End of sweats (usually).
