I grew up in Chicagoland, and had forgotten all about Jewel stores.
Now I wonder whether Blue Goose’s are still around!
Edit…Wow, apparantly the answer is yes, but…it was never a chain, just a single store in St. Charles.
I am somehow glad it is still around, though.
