The thing is, I don’t think that letting the sexist trolls run this board is in its long term financial interest. Pretty soon, the only people left here will be about a dozen posters making rape jokes to each other.

I would never DREAM of telling any of those groups what they “really think” because I am not a member (except perhaps the last). In any case, people are individuals and have their own individual opinions, they aren’t all lumped together with hive mind. I would never DREAM of telling them that they’ve been brainwashed into having opinions based on their own experiences or that they were better off before they started getting all uppity and asserting their rights, or that they were perfectly happy when they were oppressed because we heard nothing to the contrary from them…
Why are women different, here? Or am I mistaken and I can start telling other groups what I know better about them than they themselves do, despite not possibly having the slightest clue at all? If we’re going to continue with the paternalistic sexism, let’s throw in some old-fashioned racism as well, shall we? Why restrict the bigotry?
